THAILAND

Thailand is a country in Southeast Asia. "Prathet" means country and "Thai" means free. This makes "Prathet Thai" means "country of free people". And when it is translated into English "Prathet Thai" became Thailand ('Land of the Thais"). The capital and largest city is Bangkok, and the main religion is Buddhism. In Thailand, there are 2.2 million legal and illegal immigrants.
